• Organization profile: the details you enter about your organization — mission, programs, focus areas, service area, budget, and grant discovery preferences.
• Grant data: tracked opportunities, applications, content library blocks, contacts, and tasks you create.
• Usage data: aggregated, anonymized analytics about feature usage to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the grant discovery, pipeline, application, and contact research features.
• To generate AI-drafted application content and grant recommendations based on your organization profile.
• To send deadline reminders and account-related notifications.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform.

3. Data Isolation

Each organization's data is isolated to that organization. We do not share your organization's grant data, applications, contacts, or profile with other organizations on the platform. Only users you invite to your organization can access your data.

4. AI Processing

When you use AI features (grant discovery, application drafting, contact research), your organization profile and relevant content are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers process data under their own privacy and data-handling policies. We do not use your data to train models.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period, after which you may request export or deletion. We will delete organization data within 30 days of a written deletion request.

6. Cookies & Authentication

We use essential cookies and authentication tokens to keep you signed in and secure the platform. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or export your organization's data at any time from within the platform. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and restrict internal access to your data. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

GetGrants.app is intended for professional use by organizations and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
